I was having chest pains after finding out I had a leaky aorta. Amanda was not only kind, she was caring and compassionate. I wasn’t entirely sure of what was happening or what would happen. Not only would Amanda check on me often, she would explain if it took a little longer to check on me. Having chest pain that takes your breath away is scary, especially when you do and don’t know what’s happening and can’t do anything to make it better. Amanda calmed every fear I had, even when I had a reaction to a medication. Amanda came right away with meds to make that reaction stop and got me feeling better within 10 minutes. This ER visit was very pleasant (while unpleasant), and I credit that to my nurse Amanda.
