We work in the Emergency Department and one night about a month ago patients were coming in one right after another. Amanda was the triage nurse and this went on for hours. She had many serious patients come in and be treated, the last one with the same compassion and care as she did the first one. When I called her to advise her of a Chest Pain (we had about 6 in a row) she checked and assessed each of them in a timely manner.
She just does not do a great job with one or two patients she does it the whole time she is here. She is pleasant to work with and be around. She talks to us in a friendly and informative manner. I never hesitate to call her with questions or concerns when a patient comes in with problems that are not on the priority list but still seem serious to me. She is a wonderful nurse and co-worker.
