We recently had a patient who needed medical attention while traveling back to Michigan. The patient's husband had no transportation to and from the hotel. Amanda drove the husband to the hotel after her shift to keep him from paying for a taxi. This act by Amanda was discovered during Nurse Leader Rounds when the patient informed the Director of the unit.
