My husband had a procedure, and Amanda, RN, was who took us to his room. She had a smile on her face and was very professional and friendly. Amanda took great care of my husband and thoroughly explained everything she was doing. She was his preop and postop nurse. Along with the technical preparation, Amanda conversed about subjects he liked, such as bicycling and running. They also talked about teaching, as my husband was a PE teacher for 37 years. Amanda really kept him relaxed and calm.
