August 2020 Honoree
amanda clevenger, RN, BSN
Amanda was a very caring and loving nurse. She was like my guardian angel. Always answered my calls with a smile. You could tell she loved her job and her patients.
I came into the hospital with bleeding bowels and my blood count was very low. They were to do a colonoscopy and I was nervous and afraid as was my daughter and my husband. Amanda was so calming and sweet to me. It helped me so much.
On the day I was to be dismissed from the hospital, Amanda said she wouldn't be working. Before she left on my last day in the hospital, she came in and gave me and my husband a big hug. We just love her and pray all nurses could be like her.

Thank you, Amanda, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
