Amanda’s nomination came from a Veteran patient and his wife, who wanted to share the positive impact that Amanda’s care has had on his healthcare and overall well-being.

Amada supported the transition from another VA medical center, assisting with the coordination of physical therapy, occupational therapy, prescriptions, and all needed follow-up appointments related to a recent leg fracture.

Amanda spent 30 minutes answering our questions, going back and forth to get answers and documents. She was helpful, patient, and caring. They shared, "Can’t tell you how grateful we were to the nurse for their help. She solved ALL our problems. It was so appreciated. She was an absolute godsend.”
