We had an older gentleman come late to the COVID vaccine clinic after most of the staff had closed down and left. He was short of breath, walked with a cane, and apologized many times because he had gotten lost and therefore was late to get his vaccine. Mandy never missed a beat; she greeted him with a smile, sat him down, and collected his information. She gave him his shot and got him set up with his next vaccine appointment. During this time he asked multiple questions, but Mandy patiently answered them all. Mandy truly showed her compassionate care for this elderly gentleman and did the right thing for him.
