Amanda Dalton, RN

In all my years of nursing, I have never met a nurse like Amanda. She is by far one of the smartest, calmest, funniest, and most efficient nurses out there. If you have a question, need extra hands, or want a second opinion-she is the person to go to. She always seems to have the answers or knows how to find them. She has always been my biggest motivation for being a better nurse. I've seen the way she can handle any chaos, sadness, stress, sass, and I strive to follow in her footsteps. I'm nominating Amanda for the DAISY Award because she not only goes above and beyond for patients but also for staff. She is truly an advocate for the Emergency Department. Thank you for everything you do for us, it never goes unnoticed! If every nurse could learn her ways, nursing would be the most powerful field in healthcare!
