Amanda worked with my dad for six straight nights while he was in ICU. She was doing her routine checks that Friday night when she noticed something was off with his heart rhythm. She casually asked for the EKG machine (not to scare me) and continued working on my dad. Once complete, I asked about it and she calmly told me she was going to show it to the doctor. They immediately realized he was having a heart attack. Within minutes, his room was filled with people ready to take him to the Cath Lab. I feel like my dad is alive thanks to her and how she kept me calm throughout the entire night and want to thank her for saving his life.
