I recently visited the Emergency Department at Dukes Memorial Hospital for a work-related injury. Amanda Dillon treated me with smiles, kindness, and compassion that was above and beyond my expectations. Amanda not only treated my wound but she actually listened to me and was truly invested in my care and story. After hearing that story as part of my medical history and causing some recent scares, Amanda reached far beyond the scope of her duties by offering advice, compassion, and comfort where she didn’t have to. She even recognized some of the symptoms I described through our conversation and offered a little help with that issue, too.

When it came time to give me a shot in the arm Amanda even mentioned that she has practiced for years to find the perfect technique that is painless and leaves no after effect. She was absolutely right! Amanda Dillon not only knows how to be an outstanding nurse with her training and top-notch practical skills but also is by far the kindest and most personable nurse.
