Amanda Dobbs, BSN, RN, MHA
During my hospital stay for sepsis, I gave birth to my 19-week gestational son, who did not survive. My son was perfect in every way, but losing him so unexpectedly was more than devastating.
Amanda came into contact with my husband and me after our unfathomable loss. Because of his size at birth, we were unsure of what amount of ashes we could receive, if any. With the amount of lethargy from my recovery and the aching in my heart from the sudden loss of my son, I was dreading making the necessary phone calls we needed to do. She offered help and commandeered calling crematoriums to find out how much, if any, we would receive.
Amanda was prompt and delicate about the entire situation. She checked with me often to see how she could help me in any way. Her meticulous care and sweet heart helped me heal not only physically but emotionally as well. Amanda is amazing! She gave me lots of great resources to use once I was discharged.
