Mandy has one of the sweetest personalities I have met during my stays. This is my sixth time being here. When I arrived at my room, she and her assistant were there making sure my oxygen was set up. It is a good feeling to know that your nurse knows what you need and addresses the issues before you have to say something.
If I had any concerns, like an extra blanket, Mandy attended to it right away. When my port was accessed it was hard getting my blood to come out. This has happened before on one of my visits, but she told me to exercise my arm to see what would happen and she was right. My blood started to flow. This is an excellent example of her medical knowledge.
Mandy also has a great bedside manner. She keeps a smile on her face which makes you feel her concern. Her smile and tone of voice also make me feel as if I am the most important patient to her at that time, but I bet she makes all her patients feel like that.
Mandy asked important questions and was on top of all the medication I needed. If there was a question from my husband and me, she found the answer. Mandy is an excellent nurse who makes it a pleasure to come to this hospital.
