Amanda was recognized by a fellow staff member for the comfort she provided a patient's family during an incredibly difficult and emotional time. The co-worker said that Amanda was the family's rock ? she sat with them, held their hands, cried, and grieved with them. She writes that there is no doubt the family will be forever grateful for the love, comfort, and support Amanda provided them. Her compassion will be etched in their story and serve as a light in the presence of their boundless grief.
