Amanda's bedside manner is very comforting. She is a precious blessing to be around. My poor husband is a diabetic and had been throwing up for a week. ER twice and admitted, they were doing fluids and Phenergan. Amanda came on and said you can leave anytime you need to, I have him, I promise. It was at that moment I knew in my heart he was in good hands. She didn't care if I stayed, she was just stating if I needed to go, I could. She was sweet and caring and kept me up to date. I home school so she updated me in the mornings and I'd get there when I could. She made it easier to do the things at home I needed prior to coming to the hospital. So with her caring and loving what she does is why we nominate her for outstanding service over and beyond to get one well and to keep them comfortable as possible. Anyone who gets to be her patient will be honored to have such a caring and loving nurse. She kept a close eye on my hubby to keep him comfortable and gave meds back to back on time. She kept us warm, comfortable, and asked what else she could do. Thanks, Amanda for over and beyond service and being an excellent nurse.
