We've had a behavioral health patient in our department for 35 days; as a charge RN, Amanda Eggers has helped provide compassion and care for him throughout his stay. One aspect of his background is that he is autistic and has several needs. One night, Amanda noticed that his hospital clothing was causing his skin to be irritated, after her shift she went to a store and purchased clothing for the patient so that he would be more comfortable. This small act meant a lot to the patient, and the staff that says this kind and selfless act, this is just one example of the incredible care Amanda delivers day in and day out. Thank you!
