I just wanted to recognize Cherry McFarlane and Amanda Eshetu for their above-and-beyond work ethic and teamwork, and pleasant disposition in ICU. A physical therapy evaluation was placed for a bariatric ICU patient that needed significant assistance just to sit up in bed and was connected to many lines as many ICU patients are. When rolling the patient to get her to sit, the PTs observed that the rectal tube was out of place and that patient's pads were very soiled. The patient's nurse was on her lunch break at that time, but Amanda and Cherry came to the rescue. With their help, the patient was cleaned, the rectal tube was reinserted, the sheets were replaced, and the patient was positioned more comfortably on the bed. I just wanted to say thank you for all you do, for always helping even if it's not a patient assigned to you, and for your kindness and good attitude.
