My elderly, sweet 91-year-old mother was brought into the ER with episodes of confusion and hallucinations. Mom was lucid but altered all at the same time. Mom is a retired nurse. She knows the workings, equipment, the how's and the why's. The thing Mom and I were most impressed with was Amanda's skill set. She is a breath of fresh air. She's confident, reassuring, and, most importantly, she engages the patient. 100% Big, big points!

My mother was discharged, but several weeks later was back in the ER for stroke-like symptoms. I was an immediate mess. I did a lot of crying in the waiting before someone brought us in. That person was Amanda! She said, "I remember you!" Not only did she remember me, but she remembered my mom and continually cared for her. Amanda administered her the proper medications and stayed with her until transport. Amanda is the best example of nursing my mom has received since moving here in 2021.
