My husband was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer. Amanda Flowers was our nurse when this was told to us. She went above and beyond what was expected of her. She anticipated all of the patient’s needs and that of our children. She proceeded to check on us even when we were moved to another unit. My husband was in the hospital 13 days and he always talked about how great Amanda was to him.
