I was admitted for 5 days. I was scared I would be placed on a ventilator. Knowing I was scared, several nurses and my doctor helped me to be calm and know I was safe. Amanda took the time to explain the shots and medicine I was receiving. At one point, one of the meds given through the IV hurt me. She found a way that would not hurt me and took the time to make me feel better, even before she was going home! She had the best manner, although many did. Thank you for all your help to make a patient with COVID feel safe. I was so scared I would not see my family again. It is safe to say this pandemic has come a long way since last year with medicine.
