Amanda Heine, ADRN

My coworker Amanda is a phenomenal nurse. Clinically she "knows her stuff" but it truly far surpasses that. Amanda catches the details and truly mixes nursing and social work in the most amazing way. I cannot tell you how many times she comes to me (a social worker) and seeks support in ways that many nurses do not. I guess the way to put it is that she is a healer in the holistic sense. She views the whole person and does not get stuck in the "nursing lane." She has a wonderful heart for our patients and has really stood out to me as a shining example of an amazing nurse. I hope that she will be recognized for the amazing example that she sets!
