Amanda Hofmann, RN

Amanda was an awesome nurse. She was my nurse on the day I was being discharged, and even though I am an inmate, she was caring and helpful, kind, and treated me like a person. She took the time to answer all of my questions. She was very knowledgeable about my disease (sickle cell) and did her very best to ensure that my pain was controlled. She reviewed my discharge orders with me, and when there was a discrepancy she called the doctor immediately and had the error fixed. And when my diet orders were wrong, she made sure that the issue was corrected and that I received my meal. Upon discharge, she even assisted me and pushed me in my wheelchair to our vehicle. Amanda is a true nurse in every sense of the word. Thank you, Amanda!
