My mother was admitted to the ICU at the Bellevue Med Center after being seen in the ER for what was thought to be a stroke. Not long after being admitted to the ICU, my mom suffered a major seizure while I was with her. I came out and called for help. My mom's heart stopped because she had a complication during her seizure. Amanda was the nurse who administered two rounds of CPR that started my mom's heart again and helped save her life. My mom wouldn't be here today if it weren't for Amanda and the other members of the ICU who cared for my mom.
