I feel that Amanda contributed to saving my husband's life. He had surgery and had done well. But on this night he became confused and his condition worsened both mentally and physically. Amanda worked with him continuously and concluded that he needed more care than she could provide on the surgical unit. She arranged for him to be transferred to CCU where he was treated. Amanda's concern and knowledge led to getting my husband the extra care he needed to recover. She even comforted me in the CCU and helped me feel that I was not alone. She is a true angel and a wonderful nurse.
