From the moment we walked into the unit at the hospital Amanda was warm, hospitable, and caring. Our daughter was having a repeat MRI and our first experience a couple of years prior was not ideal. Amanda was so accommodating to our special needs child and displayed great empathy and understanding. She asked the most perfect questions regarding our daughter's preferences to make the experience as pleasant for her as possible. She even found us an orange-scented wipe to wipe the inside of the anesthesiologist's gas mask so that the gas would have a more pleasant smell. These seemingly little things mean everything to parents with a special needs child and Amanda's natural skill in this regard was very impressive and so appreciated. Every pediatric nurse should be exactly like her.

All made my daughter with big fears feel incredibly happy and safe from the second we walked into the unit. This was important for her as she has experienced extensive trauma in her life. They were attentive to her many questions. Thank you for making a difference now and for my daughter’s future medical situations.
