An ICU patient was an end-of-stage COPD with severe aspiration. During a busy shift, the patient asked Amanda if she could grant her one last wish. She wanted to feel the rain one more time before she died. Amanda did not hesitate, she got the cardiac chair and transported the patient to the sidewalk outside of the ICU. As soon as the patient felt the rain on her face, she started to cry. Soon after this, the patient passed peacefully. Her family stated that her passing was so much more peaceful, thanks to Amanda's personal touch.
