In April of 2022, my husband and I found that I had cancer all through the left side of my face and nose. I had six back-to-back surgeries to get all the cancer out. It left me disfigured in my face, forehead, and nose. However, I had the best plastic surgeon to put me all back together. When I woke up in shock from my first surgery, I felt so scarred and ugly. My nurse, Amanda, sat with me and comforted me, her words will always remain in my heart. If it wasn’t for Amanda, I never would have gone through with all the other surgeries. She is a huge asset to this hospital and I hope they never lose her as a nurse. She went above and beyond for me, she was so compassionate and caring, and I'm happy to say I am cancer free and after 6 face surgeries it actually doesn’t look as bad as I thought that it would. But I assure you Amanda was and is one of my hero's, her and my husband were both my biggest supporters and always treated me with 100% care and compassion. Thank you so much, very grateful Amanda was my nurse
