Amanda not only gave excellent care to my husband, but she also made certain of my needs. Always a pep in her step and a huge smile on her face. She could read both of us and know exactly what to say. Whatever the need, she appeared like magic. The medical field is definitely where she needs to be. She dearly loves her job.

Amanda made an incredibly difficult time more bearable for our beloved, her family, and all who love her. Amanda was so kind and attentive, making sure she was comfortable. She took the time to talk to her and even got a few laughs out of her. Amanda worked with us to surprise her in the hospital chapel for an unofficial wedding ceremony between her son and fiancé because we weren’t sure if she would make it to the wedding in October. It was a precious experience we’ll never forget.

Amanda was an absolute angel. She was so bubbly and joyful and always met my mother’s needs. She was on top of any new health concern. She went out of her way to let my mom go visit her twin sister, as she was inpatient as well after talking to her supervisor. She even assisted us in trying to locate her phone, which was lost. She provided so much compassion and support, and made us laugh as well.

Amanda went way beyond providing healthcare. She provided for the soul. She made sure the whole patient was cared for, and that is so important to a patient facing a long illness. She is a great communicator between the hospital and family members. We were fortunate to have our family member in her care.

It warms my heart to see an old-fashioned caring nurse. I can feel her compassion and dedication to her patients. My mom and I felt a sense of warmth and comfort when she walked into the room. I felt at ease leaving my mom in her care. She is outstanding!
