My nurse Amanda is awesome. Even though, I was placed in the Transfer protocol due to the doctor declining to perform surgery because he determined what I needed to be done was too complex. Amanda encouraged me to remain positive and always took the time to answer my many questions; her care and compassion were exhibited every day from cleaning my messes, being a colostomy patient to blowing IVs to assisting with Radiology tests to dislodge my blockage that caused me severe pain. Without a doubt, Amanda is a nurse’s nurse!!!!
