Amanda was my guardian angel and she kept me from have a 2nd C-section. I had been at 8cm for over 4 hours and the doctors were already prepping me for a C-section when Amanda, who wasn't even my nurse and who was already at the end of her shift, stayed an extra hour and repositioned me in the weirdest positions ever, every 30 minutes.
During her last repositioning session, she instructed my oncoming nurse on how to reposition me next. With these turns, my baby who was coming down with the side of his head was magically turned in position and 2 hours after the doctor arrived. I was ready to start pushing. I am forever grateful to her team for such an awesome job.
