Amanda was so kind from start to finish with keeping me informed about my fiancé who was having surgery. She was so kind to not just me but everyone in the waiting room. You can tell that she doesn’t do this for income alone. She gave me the mother vibes when it came to comforting the family. What really stood out about this nurse was that when I was told the Doctor wanted to talk to me. My initial thought was that something was wrong. They thought the surgery would last longer than it did, so it startled me. When Dr. S told me that my fiancé was good after surgery; my sad tears turned into tears of joy. Even after I was done talking to him, I was still teary-eyed. I was standing in the hallway talking to my mom back in Michigan which made me cry more. As everyone walked past me in the hallway, Amanda was the only familiar face I knew. She stopped what she was doing to console me. Which in turn made me cry more. I was so appreciative of her kind heart! I let her know the tears were tears of joy and I could hear the relief in her voice. The act of her just being there in my time of need just spoke volumes! She is very genuine, and the world needs more people like her.
