A patient was in labor with her first birth, which quickly turned in to a very scary situation for the patient as her levels began to drop dangerously low. Amanda remained calm and stayed focused on the patient and her needs along with calming the family. Once the patient was stable it was actually time for Amanda's shift to end. However, Amanda stayed and assisted with the birth and helped to welcome a precious gift of life.
