If you would have told me that I would have endured such a journey here in the NICU I would have never believed you. The month and a half Z has been here we’ve been through hell and back. Our lives will forever be changed. At the beginning of this journey, it felt like I was and had been wandering around in a dark cave alone until I was met by a beam of light in the form of RN, Amanda Miller. Not only has she dedicated her time in the assist of helping save my daughter’s life alongside such brilliant minds from day one, but she has also nurtured my child with such love and care. She held her little hand through such a scary storm and spoke life into my child.

When everyone seemed to be skeptical, Amanda was love and hope. When Z healed and opened her little eyes, she looked into Amanda’s eyes as if she knew she never left her side or given up on her. I will never be able to put into words what Amanda means to us or express how grateful I am to her. She will forever hold a place in my heart.
