On Wednesday, between 9:30 and 3:00, I was transferred from the Cancer Center to the emergency room for suspected problems with my heart. It was a long, exhausting day and Amanda was attending to me almost constantly during the ordeal. Her interactions with me were professional, compassionate, and comforting. Amanda is an excellent nurse and a calming and thorough communicator for patients going through a traumatic and potentially lifesaving experience.
