I came into the ER in the middle of the night in severe pain. I had my husband and three kids with me. Amanda is such an amazingly friendly and caring person! She made sure my kids and husband were comfortable and taken care of, just as much as I was. She brought them drinks and crackers, almost like she is a waitress. Then she surprised my kids with coloring books and colored pencils. She even accommodated my younger son when he asked for crayons instead. My kids left the ER thinking we just went to a nice place for a little vacation, in the middle of the night. They all even said, “We really like it here!"

Amanda’s actual care as a nurse was also wonderful. She handled giving me medications through the IV perfectly. I was never confused about what was happening next because she always updated me. The ER really is a welcoming and caring place to be, especially with nurses like Amanda.
