When I was sad and worried about my dad, I cried. Amanda stopped what she was doing, put her arm around me and said, "He knows you are here and taking care of him, even with dementia." She sat down with him when I went home to rest and calmed him down. She when above her duties. She was always smiling and compassionate. I know how hectic and how her job is stressful, but she demonstrated the most important values; compassion, care, and love. Those qualities are not just those of a nurse, they are qualities of an angel and she was definitely my dad's. Words just can't seem to express how I appreciate what she did for my dad. She is SPECIAL!
