Amanda has been with us since W's surgery and to say that we appreciate all that she has done for us would be a huge understatement. A hospital is not a home, so you need the right people to help you be as comfortable and as relaxed as you can be in spite of the circumstances. Amanda has helped us feel that way from day one. Helpful, kind, big smile, friendly, outgoing and just plain nice are all words that describe Amanda. We feel better knowing that she is here for us. And we want to thank her for all that she has done for us while we are here. For the most part, all of the nurses have been great, but, in our eyes and hearts, Amanda stands above the rest. She is a credit to her profession and an example of how just being a good person really goes a long way to making others feel special. We will miss her when we leave.
