amanda quinn, RN

Amanda is one of the most caring, compassionate and competent nurses I know. She always goes above and beyond for both her patients and the department. She is hands on all the time giving 100% of herself. She comes in early, stays late, takes extra shifts, whatever is asked of her to make sure everything is taken care of. I've seen her sit and hold a dying patient's hand, hug family members who are grieving and be overjoyed at a new life coming into the world. She is emotionally connected and professional at the same time. When things get busy she never gets overwhelmed but is able to keep her composure as she is still caring for many patients while assisting everyone else as charge nurse, helping the doctors, arranging critical care transport, all while keeping patients safety as a top priority. She makes sure things run smoothly and is not afraid to ask for help when she needs it. She's grown and flourished in the years she has been here, always hungry for experience and knowledge. Amanda Quinn is an amazing person, friend, nurse and I would be grateful if she were to ever care for my loved ones.
