Mandi embodies not only the FACES (Friendly, Available, Caring, Efficient, Safe) culture but truly the compassion, creativity, and integrity that make a great nurse leader. Mandi Schaub is not only a selfless leader who’s incredibly smart and kind, but also puts others before herself. Mandi’s contributions are hard to count because they are what she does daily. In recent months, Mandi has led her team in teaching the nursing workflows of CapMan and Connect Care. She has taught many classes herself while troubleshooting, collaborating, and advocating for all of nursing. She maintains current, evidence-based knowledge while ensuring the Department of Nursing does the same. She has a particular deference for patient safety and staff safety, and Mandi’s professionalism is second to none. She is a true role model and a superior person. I am so proud to serve alongside her!
