Amanda was my OR and post-op nurse for a recent procedure done at the Plaza. After the procedure, it was taking longer for my blood pressure to come back up and she was very insistent on it being over 100 before she would even think of discharging me. She consulted with the anesthesiologist more than once on this. She was able to read me better than me when I told her I was fine, gauging that I needed to stay a little longer. She genuinely cared about my safety and recovery and was not anxious to push me out the door. She was thorough in her explanation of everything, she was kind, and compassionate, and she made my experience a better one.
