Amanda exemplifies what The DAISY Award stands for. Amanda leads by example. During the recent pandemic, Amanda volunteered to be re-deployed to an ICU to help care for the sickest patients; all while being supportive of her Endoscopy nurses. Even though our Endo unit has been dispersed she continues to be a team player with her encouraging words and can-do attitude. While nursing can often be stressful, Amanda consistently has a smile on her face willing to help any patient or co-worker.
