She stayed with me during my difficult days while I had my ventilator in and I was afraid and she held my hand and talked calmly to me so I would stop freaking out and trying to pull the ventilator out. It felt like I couldn't breathe and she stayed with me reminding me that I had to remain calm and that they would remove my ventilator. She made me feel safe and calm and that I was going to be okay. She is a very kind and gentle nurse who went above and beyond for me and I was very lucky to know her and have her.
All the nurses here are kind and wonderful and have done great by me and for me, but Amanda is the one who went above and beyond for me.
