During Mr. W's stay, Amanda took time to answer questions for the patient and his wife. Amanda kept them informed of test results quickly and promptly. This and the fact that Amanda always looked the patient and family in the eye gave them peace of mind when having to make difficult decisions about his care. Amanda was head and shoulders above all the other nurses, she listened, was informative, looked for ways to make the patients stay more comfortable, and was effective in getting other staff involved when it was necessary.
