Amanda has one of the sweetest dispositions of anyone I have ever known. She was meant to be a nurse! My grandmother was very sick the night Amanda was assigned to her. She immediately got to work assisting my grandmother, whether it was holding her up to take her meds or adjusting her in the bed, Amanda did it with a smile that made all of us smile! Her kind gestures did not go unnoticed. When I had to leave for work, she made sure my grandmother had everything she needed and more! She never came into the room without a smile, and it became contagious. Even though my grandmother was very sick, Amanda was able to cheer her up and comfort her. She deserves to be recognized with the DAISY Award as she is the poster nurse for it! Thank you, Amanda!
