Amanda became more than acquainted with my mom's personality than most nurses. She discovered Mom used to sing opera; Amanda sang some opera excerpts to mom as she carried out her duties. She also placed a Bible verse from her own pocket on mom's room shelf. Many times Amanda inquired of my well-being!

Amanda also sang phrases of my mom's special gospel song: Sweet Holy Spirit. During Amanda's 3 shifts, my mom always improved - more alert, thanks to Amanda!
