Amanda Swope, RN

I am truly surprised that Amanda has not been awarded already, as her kindness and compassion are limitless. I could go on and on about the countless times that she has done something worthy of this honor. One specific time that comes to mind is when a patient who was unable to walk a far distance to meet access. She not only walked him down, assuring he safely made it, but waited alongside him until it arrived. Another time, a sweet elderly woman confided in her that she was not able to eat three meals per day because of financial limitations. She went and got the patient some snacks and set her up with the local food bank, which is now providing her with food. She truly cares, and we need more people like her in this world.
