Amanda Tanis, RN
I am in my 15th month of treatment for pancreatic cancer. The care and compassion shown to me throughout this journey have made an enormous difference, and I am truly grateful. All of my caregivers have been extraordinary; however, Amanda has been especially exceptional.
I watch her care for patients with remarkable professionalism, warmth, and positivity—her presence is truly contagious. Not only does she bring a smile to every patient she encounters, but she does so while raising two elementary‑school‑aged children, which is truly remarkable.
Amanda always listens with genuine interest and shares small, personal moments about her children and her day, creating a comforting, human connection that means so much. She is undeniably in the right profession, and she should be recognized as an extraordinary nurse.
