I was in the darkest part of my life. I tried to take my own life as a result of being an alcoholic. It was very hard to face everyone in the ER. I was embarrassed and ashamed. When arriving at the ICU and suicide watch, Amanda was the first I remember seeing. She made me feel so comfortable. She was so personable. I will never forget her. She has helped me through my journey. Today, I am alive and sober. Thank you, Amanda!

Amanda provides the best patient care. She goes above and beyond for her patients and their families. She is always there to help comfort the patients and their families through the toughest times. She never lets patients or their families see the stress and struggles her job brings. She is truly one of the best nurses in this hospital. I hope she knows how good of a nurse she is. If I were in the ICU, I would want her to be my nurse.
