May 2026 Honoree
Amarbir Gill, RN
What a beautiful start to working with Amarbir, especially on a not-so-good day as a patient. She was given the details as the shift changed and came into my room as if she knew I needed extra support and care. I was crying, and she said, “It's OK, beautiful, you are so strong. We will do this together”.
She allowed me to close my eyes and weep a little bit longer, then squeezed my hand. Afterwards, she administered my meds, and I continued thinking positive thoughts. As she continued her care, she kept reminding me that she understood and became transparent regarding her own post-surgery experience. It made me feel related to it and connected at the same time. Thank you.

Thank you, Amarbir, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
