We talked for like an hour and Amaris was really patient with me and gave me hugs when my crying got worse.
During one of my long stays here in the hospital, I was suffering from depression and anxiety. It caused me trouble breathing, increased heart rate, and I kept crying. Everyone else was busy and well, so was Amaris, but she stayed to talk anyway. We talked for like an hour and she was really patient with me and gave me hugs when my crying got worse. The funniest part was that we never met. That was our first time meeting. She told me jokes, gave me my meds, and IVs while listening to me rant about my problems. After that case, I considered Amaris to be my favorite nurse on the night shift.
