When most people are celebrating the start of something new, my husband's grandfather was in the ICU, nearing the end of his life. Amber was his nurse for the day, and she was so kind and compassionate. She made sure the entire family was cared for that day. Answering any and all questions we had. Helping everyone understand the equipment and trying to keep our loved ones with us until all had their chance to say goodbye. What really stood out was when she gave my 12-year-old son a tiny jar with a copy of his Papa's heart rhythm in it. We will cherish that forever. Thank you, Amber, for all you do.
